About Theresa

Theresa is an emerging light designer based in Omaha Nebraska. She is a dynamic lighting designer with a strong background in performing. She uses her background to not only highlight the performer but keeps the story clear. She likes to push the boundaries of color in realistic settings and the magical and surreal. She loves to give a new life to old texts and give spotlight to new plays with heart and grit. Her favorite pieces to light include music because it is a language that speaks to everyone. When she is not enveloped in a dark theatre for hours, she writes music, bakes bread, reads a classic novel in a coffee shop, and takes long walks.
